Galveston Oil Spill50 businesses have already filed a class action suit against the companies behind this Galveston Oil Spill, I wonder if the citizens of Galveston are going to be filling a lawsuit because this destroyed our summer, no way am I going to eat out of the Galveston Bay now, and I have tons of fishing gear hoping to enjoy a fun summer of fishing and swimming.

Galveston Oil SpillNow they are going to open the Houston Ship Channel till midnight, just curious, is that because they feel that is safe, or is it because they are losing money being closed? What are your thoughts? As I look out there it is still a mess, and only a professional certified company can go to clean the beaches, I would get in trouble if I tried, imagine that, while it all soaks in and starts sinking, as this type of oil does not stay on top of the water, so time is super important.

Galveston Oil SpillNow they are saying as much as 170,000 gallons of this bottom of the barrel oil has leaked into the Galveston Bay, and made it as far as 12 miles out into the gulf of Mexico. With that said I am not sure how we are not going to soon have oil all over the Galveston Beaches, and I wonder what this is going to do to impact out community. My neighbors that work on the beach are already saying they expect a tough summer with the lack of tourists.
